Pyramid Apiaries is a husband & wife run business between Patrick & Laura Dawkins - producing quality mated queens, queen cells and nucleus hives with Italian bees. Together they have the expertise to provide quality beekeeping services and products.
Based in Marlborough, at the top of New Zealand's South Island, mated queens are available for pick-up or can be couriered anywhere in New Zealand, while queen cells and nucs can be picked up from Pyramid Apiaries' Waihopai Valley base.
Both Patrick & Laura have commercial beekeeping experience gained prior to launching Pyramid Apiaries in 2016. Laura was trained as a queen breeder and completed Lincoln University's Certificate in Apiculture, while Patrick's training concentrated more on honey production.
